A ride...

     D and I over a couple of drinks in Thamel decided that the next day we were going to go for a ride to Pokhara, a town 200km West of Kathmandu. Now bear in mind by this stage of my life a couple of drinks was normally just coffee, and for D it was tea. She and I had been dating for a couple of weeks now, and we were comfortable together as lovers, but still had that shyness that new couples had. Well, we decided that this trip to Pokhara we were going to use to let each other know our more, hmm, passionate sides.      The next morning I picked her up on my bike and we headed up to Thankot where we planned to have a cup of tea, then head to the Riverside resort where we planned to spend the night. When we arrived at Thankot and stopped, we were surprised to meet a couple of our old friends, a happily married couple, S and A. We all sat around a little teashop talking about our plans. They were also heading to Pokhara, but were going direct, only planning...

A night of wild...sleep

  First of all, P and I had a lot of mutual friends and I really, really liked her. But at the same time she had a very active social life, if you know what I mean. After a few months of flirting but never actually getting the chance to do something we decided that come hell or high water she and I were going out for a date, just the two of us. We went to a very nice Indian restaurant where we continued to flirt, feeding each other bites of food, holding hands, laughing. And we decided that after dinner we were going to go on a ride on my bike up to one of the hotels on the hills surrounding the valley. And we did, stopping only to pick up a couple of bottles of wine, and some fuel for the bike. We arrived at the hotel around 9pm and managed to get a room with a balcony. We went right up, called room service and ordered some chocolate cake, and a large pot of coffee as we had gotten quite cold on the ride up.
